Apskullu was born at the Hetronic Factory, Mosta Technopark. A group of friends, all of which Crazy on Cars had been thinking of forming a club or community which would be the official body for their main interest - cars.

The name (Apskullu) had been thought of for a while, and it is said that "Apskullu" means a "Car" in a some native language.

In the beginning of 2004, a logo for apskullu was created together with a draft website. A t-shirt for each member was also printed with their car on the back of the t-shirt.

That summer was full of activities for Apskullu members. Amongst which were barbeques, nights out, a trip to Gozo and also a day at Splash and Fun Park.

After the summer of 2004, only a few activities were organised to focus more on the formal body of Apskullu. The logo was redisigned from scratch and we started thinking of an all-new website.

Coming summer 2005, we organised some other barbeques which all proved to be successful. An other trip to Gozo was organised in July were some of the members went to the beautiful island of the Three Hills with an offroad Maruti, and there had some 4-wheel driving fun.

2006 was another year full of activities. Apart from many activities, interestingly enough, some of our members aquired new cars during this year, amongst which a Paseo and an Escort Mk1. We also had some car projects launched which we are eagerly waiting for.

Apskullu is now looking forward to increase members and promises to organise more activities to entertain our social community. We look forward in having the friendliest car community in Malta.
